Mel Parker
Mel got his music education at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. He also attended the Recording Institute of America in Virginia. He has taught for the St. Louis County Public School System as the Orchestra and Band director and also taught private lessons. Mel has worked on numerous music productions for television shows and was nominated for and won an Emmy award (St. Louis, MO) for music production in two different syndicated TV shows. He also was nominated for an ACE award in Hollywood, CA for musical director on "Live at the Cheyenne" which aired for a full season on TNN. He was the Executive Producer for a music video entitled "I Am an American" which aired on NBC affiliate KSDK-TV in St. Louis and premiered at the opening ceremonies for the St. Louis Rams NFL football game. |
